Terms of use

Last updated: 26 July 2026

Purpose

BuildTradr is an online multiplayer business management game, offered as a beta. These terms govern access to and use of the service. By creating an account, you accept them.

Access and account

Access to the game requires creating an account and verifying your email address. You agree to provide a valid email address and to keep your password confidential; you are responsible for activities carried out from your account.

The first and last name requested are those of a fictional entrepreneur you role-play, visible to other players: do not enter your real identity there.

Rules of conduct

You agree not to post unlawful, hateful or defamatory content, nor to harass other players. A profanity filter and moderation are in place.

In the event of a breach, the publisher may take graduated measures: warning, temporary suspension or account deletion.

Player content

You remain responsible for the content you publish (messages, company names, etc.). You grant the publisher the right to display it within the game for the purposes of the service.

Availability and beta

The service is provided “as is”, with no guarantee of continuous availability. As a beta version, interruptions, changes or game-data resets (worlds, games) may occur.

Intellectual property

The game, its brand, content and graphic elements are the property of the publisher and are protected. No right is granted to the player other than the right to use the service.

Termination

You may stop using the service and request deletion of your account at any time ([email protected]). The publisher may suspend or close an account in the event of a breach of these terms.

Pricing

The service is currently free. Paid features or plans may be introduced in the future; they would then be clearly presented before any subscription.

Personal data

The processing of your data is described in the Privacy policy.

Governing law

These terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution will be sought first, before any legal action.

Changes to the terms

These terms may be amended. The last-updated date appears at the top of this page.
